I am delighted to make a contribution to Bintu today regarding matters arising from my December 2011 resignation from the SLPP as my late March 2012 enrollment in the New APC of President Ernest Koroma.  I trust you'll find it readable.

Some young, inexperienced and poorly informed supporters and relatives of SLPP’s sorry presidential candidate, Juntaman Bio, are totally ignorant of my background.  Yet they are foolish enough to attack me needlessly.  To me, a cheeky attack is usually a great opportunity to teach empty-headed kiddies and other ignoramuses a thing or two about Salone as well as teach real politics to the foolumunkus among their elders.   Here is a current case in point from one Mr. Solomon Bio who jumped into the fray against me yesterday in cyberspace without the appropriate knowledge of my background.  Lumping everybody older than them into one erroneous dragnet is their typical reckless attitude.  So, Mr. Bio got an earful from me.  Now, please read my message to Bio and Co.  Thank you.

"Mr. Solomon Bio, I was never involved in the bastardization of SL politics, as you have erroneously alleged.  I got involved in SL politics only upon the UK's re- imposition of multi-party democracy upon the Bio junta in 1994, a year or so after the mass summary torture and executions of fellow citizens.  Prior to that, I was busy gaining an education, obtaining professional experience and finding my way in business and lawyer's worlds in the USA and elsewhere.

"I hated the one-party system and stayed out of Sierra Leone for its entire duration. Later, I criticized it resolutely and I am still doing it today.  You might even have noticed that I frequently refer to it as the "Old APC of President Momoh, Minister Bundu and Vice President Banya."  Two of fake brigadier Bio's closest advisers were senior cabinet officials of the Old APC one-party Administrations.  Dr. Sama Banya was Vice President and Dr. Abass Bundu was a cabinet Minister in the Old APC.  And the way the NPRC junta boys conducted junta business, including Bio's pa-o-pa, overnight, highly unconscionable series of bogus military promotions and the accompanying salaries for which none of them was qualified, is precisely typical of the capriciousness that characterized the Old APC’s long mal-administration.

"You and the cuss-cuss kiddie crew insulting conscientious debaters in cyberspace on behalf of your no-visa, no-USA-visit candidate, must have grown up under that horrible one-party state.  Hence, your bankrupt culture of rudeness, cuss-cuss, your nasty attitudes and your everyday good-for-nothing values are completely at variance with mine.  I grew up in Sierra Leone when she was at her prime as the Athens of West Africa.  You did not.

"You all grew up when Sierra Leone had been ruined or was on the verge of ruination during the ruinous days of the one-party, nation-wrecking governments and brutal boy juntas.  Not everybody fell into that dysfunctional abyss.  EBK did not.  But Bio, his henchmen and supporters did.  If Bio is elected president, Sierra Leone will definitely regress to the backward days of the Old APC and the violent juntas of those kapu-kapu, little killer brutes.  Drs. Abass Bundu and Sama Banya and the surrounding others around your candidate are already at hand to guide young impressionable little Bio how best to land us in hell once again.

"SLPP's internal governance practice is simply to rely superficially on procedural democratic due process to render a nation-wrecking tribal culture and its preferences far superior to modern substantive democratic due process principles and standards.  Their hidden objective is to guarantee regional tribal hegemony for the elite’s benefit while the people continue with their endless daily struggles.  I know from experience that the party’s elite cares less about you and me.  I will never, ever reconcile with such a dastardly ruse.

"As I see things, EBK’s New APC has deliberately embarked on the high road to recapture the greatness of the original Athens of West Africa.  It is not going to be easy.  We should all thus change our old-fashioned attitudes, recognize his leadership and give him our support, regardless of age, tribe, gender, region or religion or sexual orientation.

"On the issue of my resignation from your party and my New APC enrollment, one does not need to be a Rhodes scholar to understand and respect my decisions. Simply put, SLPP wanted me but only under Bio and a host of other nation wreckers.  Such was an absolutely no-no for me then, and will be, even for as much as a trillion years or more, everlasting.  The SLPP elite had no idea that after what I had gone through with them, I finally wanted absolutely ‘dondo’ to do with their party.   So I quit, giving my reasons in writing.  The event was well publicized.  You’ve never once responded in any way that I was aware of, nor contacted me except only now via face book but only with a truckload of unnecessary insults.

"After quitting, I studied the political situation in our extremely unfortunate and hardship country for three full months.  I eventually coldly concluded that EBK's leadership, based on actual achievements in the face of massive difficulties, was a thousand times more superior to Bio's and anything Bio or SLPP can ever offer – unless that party’s elite changes its obsolete mentality and unchain its membership from its stranglehold of nefarious practices.

"On the issue of Senator Kassabaum's seeming appreciation of Bio's most reluctant junta surrender of power to the winner of the 1996 elections, if such an appreciation had been substantively genuine, as you have indicated, rather than normal diplomatic courtesies, how come Bio was unable to use his supposed good name to reach the USA last month after all the fanfare and expense, and even though he had reached as close to the USA as near-by Canada and where he lingered on for days?

Candidate Bio should now make it plain whether or not he would travel to the USA prior to November 17, 2012 and, if not, why not.  With all good wishes, Mr. Bio!"

With all these learned folks coming home to roost with of the New APC, SLPP has now met its true Waterloo.

Folks, when is the wake keeping?

There's a popular guy by the name of Jones in Freetown who never misses a wake keeping. Funeral arrangements will be announced later, but can someone please do SLPP a favor by posting Jones's phone number here, so we can hire him for the shouting?

Excellent read, Ambassador Leigh. I am glad that you have decided to take on your critics who have mystified Maada Bio into a demigod. What saddens me is that ostensibly normal and intelligent people have taken leave of their senses when it comes to Bio. Serious pwople had warned them that giving Bio the flag was an unmitigated tragedy for the party, but they refused to listen because of mainly ethnic small-mindedness. Now they have on their hands a candidate who is a social leper and a pariah. Ambassador Leigh, I personally thank you for your service to the nation, when some of your critics were wilting and shaking under a rock, and wish you happy tidings in your new party. You are a man of principles who had never compromised, despite the tsunami of propaganda directed at you. Stay strong and may you continue to be of service to your country. And shame on your cowardly detractors.

Ambassador, kindly ignore the moronic Fan of EBK. All he does everyday is sit his green butt on Bintumani and swat flies from his oozing, green penda. He and the other despondent, green, SLPP radicals have come to the realization that they made a bad bet on Bio. Now he is busy abusing every person who reminds him of his idiotic choice of Bio. The SLPP is a forlorn pit of rubbish. How can you have a leader who is banned by decent countries like a common drug dealer? SLPP don alaki for true true.

Fan, u nar trang yase borbor. Your relentless spinning for Bio should be a case study for lunatic genuflection. What democracy in SLPP are you talking about? That charade that birthed Bio as FB was a corrupt, voodoo ritual that was orchestrated by some of the dinosaurs in your party. No wonder people are fleeing your party. Your odious Bio will lose the elections like a yamama. That will hopefully curb your enthusiasm for supporting dictatorial crackpots.

Let me ask you one question boy. What part did you and your thieving family play in the murderous, despotic, and kleptocratic one party APC regime?

It seems like your desperation to defend your corrupt APC, is causing you to lose your moral compass, assuming you had one in the first place!

And of course, you have crawlers like that leech, Freetonian Peeper, supporting your lunacy. The beauty of this thing is to see you stew slowly in the pain and embarrassment of Bio's punch line of a candidacy, as he staggers from one PR disaster to another. Most of the criticism of those who switched to APC was because of their past pronouncements of  EBK and the APC. If they had only switched over to other political parties or formed their on, it would have been a different story. I know a lot of well placed APC members who have little or no trust of these new converts.

"On the issue of my resignation from your party and my New APC enrollment, one does not need to be a Rhodes scholar to understand and respect my decisions. Simply put, SLPP wanted me but only under Bio and a host of other nation wreckers" John Leigh

No bra John SLPP did not need you; rather it was the other way round. You wanted to use the SLPP to attain your aim but you were quite clueless as to how to go about it.

In 2001 you went ahead to negotiate for a prospecting mining company to come to Sierra Leone without reference to your bosses in Freetown. When you were checkmate you went ballistic. Is that Fraud or corruption, surely occupational fraud and abuse .i.e misrepresenting statement?

In 2005 not knowing how to practice politics you did not get anyone to nominate you for the SLPP flag bearer position. The SLPP there and then sent the message to you that they did not need you. You failed to see the writings on the wall (By the way Brigadier Bio came third in that contest with 33 votes). Your friend Alhaji Ibrahim Ben Kargbo asked you in Makeni in 2005 to join the APC. But the butterfly in you who wants to be where the honey is, you refused and stayed with the SLPP thinking Berewa will win the 2007 elections and he will reconsider you for a position. As always you failed to read the politics of Sierra Leone properly. Ernest Koroma won. Since then you have been finding ways and means to curry his favour even calling his party the new APC when you know Ernest Koroma himself was not knew to the APC. But the Butterfly in you always makes you think tomorrow is another day and today is all that matters to you.

In 2011 you again threw your hats for the SLPP flag bearer elections. Again your lack of political maturity was glaring as you spent unnecessary time blasting people on discussion forums while others went about actively campaigning. You thought your trash will win you delegates and when the delegates responded by telling you they do not know you again went ballistics insulting the people who you needed to help you achieve your dream. You just made me believe and admire Siaka Stevens when he said “nar sense make book not to book make sense” . The SLPP for the second time sent the message to you that they did not need you. Your threat to resign form the party was not even taken seriously. When Usu Bioe threatened to leave the party, several attempts were made by party big Vons including the present Flag bearer Rtd. Brigadier Maada Bio to talk to him to change his decision. You BRA JOHN TELL us who approached you? NADA. This was a clear indication that you were considered a liability and not an asset to the party or the entity call Sierra Leone. Since your departure other than you fellow participant on discussion fora your name has never been a subject of discussion within party circles. This is not the same for the likes of Usu Bio and Haja Kadi Johnson you once call New Comers. Sooner or later the APC will see through you and you will be relegated like a toilet paper to where you belong.

See an excerpt of what the former RUF spoke man said about your follumonkuness and corrupt attitude.

"ELDRED COLLINS RESPONDS TO JOHN LEIGH/EDDIE TURAY

I have been noting with the utmost contempt the attempts by John Leigh to trivialise our present national crisis by converting the Sierra Leone Embassy into a platform for jest.

The APC leader, Eddie Turay has roundly condemned these distasteful "press releases" emanating from the person of John Leigh.

Unfortunately, the APC secretary-general/presidential candidate has conveniently developed selective amnesia when recounting the origins of the present Sierra Leonean situation.

In my capacity as a member of the people's army (formerly RUF), I would like to personally set certain records straight.

1. The present crisis did not emanate or start with the NPRC on 29th April 1992. The present crisis did not start on March 23rd 1991, when a group of young Sierra Leoneans decided to take the destiny of their nation into their hands and uproot the corrupt APC system of governance.

2. abuses by the repressive APC regime would keep me writing so much so that at the end of February, I would still be writing. It is my belief that it would be wise for Eddie Turay to restrain himself some more whilst wildly lashing out at the alleged deeds of the RUF.

5.  The people's army (formerly RUF) had no other way of stopping the rule of the gun except by the gun itself. The people's army accepts the blame for all the atrocities of the past six years and we have repeatedly sought forgiveness from our brothers and sisters whom we wronged in fighting for our cause.

7. The members of the former RUF have a voice. It is erroneous for anyone to believe that the former RUF was composed of fools as John Leigh believes. This misconception on the part of Leigh is understandable considering that he had absolutely no connections via marriage, kids, houses built or property invested in Sierra Leone before 1996 when he gave Tejan Kabbah $10,000 as a campaign contributions.

8. Leigh, his foreign wife and foreign borne & raised children cannot even begin to comprehend the gravity of the present Sierra Leone situation which is why he reduces himself & the embassy to fooloomoonkoo words.

9. We are completely dedicated to our Head Of State, Lt-Colonel John Paul Koroma. as we were instructed by our leader Corporal Foday Saybana Sankoh in May this year. Lt Colonel John Paul Koroma remains the undisputed Head Of State and he is fully in control of Sierra Leone. The recent attempt by John Leigh to incite divisions in the ranks of the People's Army, by lying about Colonel A.K. Sesay not wanting Corporal Sankoh back, can at best be described as pathetic.

10. John Leigh is just indicating to the whole world via the Internet that the calibre of men Kabbah has around him are to be aptly described as consisting of KAKA stuff.

But frankly fellas, who can take John Leigh seriously? The ol man is a political dinosaur. He is politically extinct.

This ol clown is a megalomaniac who does not even know his political left from his right. He is always after the honeypot. The man cannot even convince 2 people nationwide to vote for him but still believes he has a chance to become President. President of what Granpa Leigh? A Nursing Home Social Club in bloston perhaps.

This undiplomatic diplomat spent the good part of the last 3 years trading mammy cusses with Sylvia Blyden who he errorneously believes cost him the 2005 primaries where the fool could not even get a single soul to nominate him. Show me anyone dumb enough to spalsh well ove $20,000 on a flawed campiagn and not even get nominated by his campaign manager and 'friends'? can you call this smart? The ol fool spent an inordinate amount of time trading mammy cusses with Sylvia and other kiddos who dared speak the truth to him. He hops on a plane on the eve of the primaries and even his campaign manger did not know his full name.

Now he has switched to the nation wrecking APC prostrating for an appoinment which he will probably never get - because noone trusts this uncouth diplomat who habitually mammy cusses in public.

Here is news for you Paa Leigh - you are probably exactly where you belong - amongst the thieving and cocaine tracking gang called APC. But your goose is cooked because, unlike the tolerant SLPP, ther APC will; not even allow you to run for office in their gang.

Happy retirement - ol fool!

The man seen in Red tie is the world oldest political clown known as JEL. He was at the convention of the Green Party wearing a Red tie, the colour of the political opponent of the green party. His Campaign Manager refused to nominate him because he refused to take off the red tie. He is seen crying and gnashing his teeth as he left the hall disgracefully. Today he finally went to his hidden and secret love party openly. Shame on him for playing watermelon politics all these while 'green outside and red inside".  The best you can get is chairman of a parastatals.

PhotoJournalism of John Leigh's Drama at the Makeni Convention in Sierra Leone

Awareness Times' cameras were fortunate to capture every single scene of relevance to John Leigh immediately after his national disgrace at the Sierra Leone People's Party Convention. The editorial team of Awareness Times had decided in its wisdom not to publish the pictures so as not to add to the fellow's torment. However, we have now unanimously decided to make available to the general public the pictures we took of John Leigh up at the Makeni Convention. See the pictures below:

John Leigh walked himself out of the Convention Hall all alone. No supporter followed him outside

He could barely stand and he had to lean on this filthy, rusted old water-tank to catch his breath and compose himself

The word then spreads amongst journalists that John Leigh was outside and they started to hover around him with their tape recorders

John Leigh starts by blasting certain delegates and the entire membership of his party with particularly nasty words for the delegates

At several points, he bursts into tears and wept like a cry-baby

But the lady who carried the day in terms of crying (No, sorry, not crying but WAILING) was this lady shown here wearing a "John Leigh for President" T-Shirt. She was wailing like a banshee and even physically attacked Leigh's Campaign Manager, Hindolo Butcher

She could not be consoled and in her distraught state revealed a lot of revelations to the public about how much cash Leigh spent to get himself nominated but which no sober-minded delegate paid heed to. They all ate his money and voted their consciences

During this time, the Awareness Times team took a picture of the confused Campaign Manager, Hindolo S. B. Butcher as he spoke to someone on the telephone

As he spoke, journalists also fired questions at him in a bid to get a replacement actor provide them with answers as the police had carted off the main actor of the day, John Leigh. Butcher also made a lot of revelations to pressmen on that fateful red-lettered and red-necktie day

Dear Friends, many thanks for your overall interest in my posting.  I am flattered by your overall interest.  At this point, I will respond to the critiques of Fan of EBK and salone.  Later, I will respond to the more recent ones as time permits.

1.   @Fan of EBK

Herewith are my answers inn chronological sequence to your misguided attacks.

1. Bio was democratically elected by the overwhelming majority of the party's membership - like it or lump it

REBUTTAL. The democracy at the convention was merely procedural, not substantive.  The procedueal part of the voting including the list of voters, the casting of votes, the transparent counting of votes and the announcement of the results, were ok.  Buthow and why delegates decided to vote or not to vote for any particular aspirant was solely on the basis of tribal cultural values rather than according to the rules and standards implicit in substantive democracy.  Below is an e-mail response to a Southern slpp friend agreeing that SLPP select presidential candidates on the basis of African cultural values/native customs rather than applying real democratic principles/standards:

"My Dear Ngor XXXX:

"I agree with you that the choice of baggage-laden, lightweight, killer-kleptocrat Bio as your party's 2012 FB is the product of your tribe's values/native customs.  Your party's delegates merely 'aligned' (i.e. degraded) their western education to harmonize with native standards.  In my view, such preference for antiquated ways is a very foolish approach in the 21st. Century.  The multi-party democracy that we are today enjoying, our national economy, the civil service, passports, our diplomatic service, the military, the police, our educational system, our medical system, jet travel, Mercedes Benz, penicillin, the air conditioner,  etc. did not emanate from native origins; and applying native values in their management will take us way back.  In my view, as long as SLPP elite decides to govern their party on the basis of what you've described below as your "African cultural values and civic ways", (i.e. native traditions), that party will end up with someone just as offensive as your present FB and may not be able to ever govern Sierra Leone again. Your people should change their old-fashioned agrarian village values and ways. That value system is obsolete. It cannot even conceive of ways to provide sufficient food and decent shelter for its practitioners.  Thus, rather than "align" modern ways to "fit" the traditional values of any particular tribe, yours included, you ought to do and advocate the exact opposite: upgrade native ways to modern international value-standards that have been accepted by once-backward nations that are today among the progressive nations of the world. "African values and civic ways" as applied in Bio's case are not the way forward, as you have unfortunately argued. JL”

2. Papay Leigh only managed to poll 2 votes

REBUTTAL: You are quite correct – only two miserable votes after all my love and labors over many, many years.  But you know what happened?  African values/civic ways such as tribal loyalty, family connections, komanehism, deymeaism,  schoolmateism,  circumcision and other secret societies memberships, the sharing of booty, transactional loyalty such as “he paid my school fees” or “he gave me money for food when things were hard for my family”;  Regionalism, threats, intimidation, friendships, favoritism, nepotism, bribes, voodoo-juju are some of the considerations that give vitality to African values voting.  I am poorly qualified to go against any tribesman or boy even if he is a torturer, a sadistic killer, killer, voodooist, thief, human rights abuser, etc.

3. The Party Political Registration Commission did not find anything mysterious or nefarious about Bio's leadership victory

REBUTTAL:  The PPR does not interfere in intra-party elections until a complaint is filed.  No one filed to complain about the FB election.  The PPRC had no need to make any findings.

4. Papay Leigh was in good terms with, and more over spoke very highly of Bio, prior to Bio's clinching of the majority vote.

REBUTTAL:  I was never in good terms with Bio at anytime throughout my entire life, not even for one minute.  Never once have I ever spoken highly of Bio. I despised his sadistic and kleptocratic records and I wrote frequently to castigate his horrific record.   Bio repeatedly made Babu Yey at me public meetings in Washington, DC area when I was ambassador because AFRC was deemed entrenched and I was fighting hard to evict the AFRC junta while Bio was supporting Johnny Paul Koroma and Foday Sankoh.

2.   @Salone

My past pronouncements against APC and EBK are not the reasons for their criticisms of me at all.  My resignation and enrollment in APC hurt the SLPP very badly and they were caught off guard – and they know it.  The use of my anti-APC pronouncements as the basis of their complaints is merely an excuse to justify their anger without exposing their hurt.  I criticized only the Old APC in a serious way but was most gentle with EBK.  (I have the video).  SLPP does not recognize the distinction between Old and New APC, like I do.  For 3 full months, I studied the two and saw the huge differences. Going over to APC has badly damaged SLPP and helped the APC. No doubt about this.  In fact, many expect EBK to win at least 60% or more of the vote in the First Round with the SLPP winning no more than 35 seats in parliament and APC winning the rest but for 5 seats going to the PMDC.  APC is going to win all the seats in the West and North as well as some in the Southeast.

My going over to NDA or PMDC or sitting at home keeping was totally out of the question and would have been of positive little impact but of great stupidity.  Bio and his ex-sobels and ex-combatants would have gained from my silence.  I never wanted those kinds of people to ever benefit for my actions or from my non-action.  I wanted my switch to have an impact and I believe it did. Remember, evil prevails when good men keep silent!

There is also the cultural embarrassment of me preferring Northerners to the people of my motherland.  But they never thought of such when they gave me the Third Degree.  By the way, many responsible SLPPers, including ex-ministers and ex-elected officials  have told me that I was justified in resigning.

Lastly, not all APCers like me.  A good number were my enemies during the AFRC-RUF junta period but everyone acknowledged that I am a first class public servant whose presence in their party will be helpful to APC.

Mr. Leigh,

How many voters did you take over to the APC with you?  One?

jonny 2 vote lee,
it is a pity that all the years you claimed to have spent in slpp you can only manage to get two friends to vote for you. you must be miserable then. what a waste. you mean you cannot convince your old schholmates, komaneys, and even your mende cousins [i read elsewhere that your mom is mende from komende] to vote for you and you have the teremity to want to lead a party, not to mention a state.
yon lee accept the fact, usu boie is not mende and you will never convince me that the 183 or so votes he got came from the north and western area. mr keili is mende to the core but got less than 100 votes.
yon lee bo pleaseeeee

Ambassador Leigh your method of posting appears to be messing the layout of the forum page.
On the issue at hand, I’m sorry to say you made your point but as a long time mini admirer of your person - your argument to say the least is below par – ‘e nor hol water’. Importantly, John Leigh the day your hatred for one man turned into venom against an entire ethnicity lost you the little respect some of us held for you and believe it or leave it you will never recover from this loss. One thing more, the people you are now calling your friends will not trust you whole heartedly because deep down, they know you’ve abused them in the past and come tomorrow nothing will stop you from causing them as “tribalists”.
Ambassador, I wish you good luck in your future undertakings. Remember with the SLPP there is always a second chance but with the APC you have to be always looking over your shoulder – ask Lawyer Serry Kamal of Bombali. By the way can I remind you that APC still has Leather Boot. So, mind your language if you do not want your head kicked in like Tom another APC convert.
I thought you were too good for APC - your words not mine.

Wow! That is about the most arrogant and bigoted explication I have ever read. So you think everyone at the convention, while conceding democratic process was observed, voted based on their "African cultural values?" You give us an email from an alleged and un-named fellow arrogant bigot to as evidence to confirm this view.

The colonial mentality is simply striking! If a white person wrote with such contempt for African cultural values he would be categorically denounced as a racist. If a college student in the US wrote with such condemnatory bias and sense of superiority as you, they would be failed for uncritical and judgemental thinking that privileged their own culture over others.

Now it is clear why you got no votes. You are an outsider who disparages people, traditions, and culture.

What a damn disgrace.

A. @BEK.

1.  jonny 2 vote lee had no voting delegate who was his schoolmate or komaneh or anyone who would ever expect him to share looted booty with someday.

2.  Boie Kamara got most of his votes from the North.  He also got votes in the Western Area from delegates of Northern extraction or origins.   Additional votes for Boie came from his arrangement with Mr. M.A. Sandy of Kenema.  Both had been the two top managers of NDMC (Diamond Mining) (Former SLST) in Kono and had developed a long friendship.  Unfortunately NDMC is no more. It became bankrupt.  Usman Kamara also had some votes from Pujehun from a key delegate there whom he had paid college fees for.

3.  True, Mr. Keili is Mende but got less than 100 votes.  However, that was lots more than johnny's two lousy votes after years of help and sacrifice for SLPP.  Keili got his votes fromm Freetoen padi-padi business associates and from the East, mostly from his home district - Kailahun.  He also got a few votes from Kenema where he once lived and worked and where a close relative is an indigene.  But who is Keili in SLPP? For how long?  I never knew Keili as SLPP until, like Boie Kamara, he decided he wanted to be president.  Keili can't be compared with johnny 2 vote lee's long and meritorious service to that party.

B. @Y

1. I think you characterization of my analysis is erroneous. You failed to provide any specifics to back up your faulty characterization.

2.  I have absolutely no hatred for any ethnic group.  I merely despise the SLPP elite only because they are fooling their people with lies and fake democracy as previously analysed.

3.  As for your purported respect for me, I don't need it, I don't want it.  Keep it or shower it on Bio. Thank you very much.

4.  As for your advice re APC's reputation, what I found in there is vastly different from the lies told about them inside SLPP.  Your opinion of how APC might react to me is pure speculation.  You don't know.  You are merely guessing on the basis of the numerous lies told you by SLPP sources.  All things considered, I would rather be a refugee in the New APC or become partyless than be a Bio underling in SLPP.  Period.

5. Lawyer Serry Kamal was done in by the Wikie leaks of diplomatic cables. You remember the cocaine plane at Lungi?  The US Embassy in Freetown got something on him.  He resigned quietly.

6.  Leather Boot is under investigation and has been put on light duty answering querries.

7.  Lawyer Serry Kamal was not the only one who suffered in politics.  Remember! I was sacked for doing good. The late Hon Momoh Pujeh was sacked, arrested on charges by the SLPP Government, detained, prosecuted, convicted and sentenced in jail for three years.  Most of his SLPP friends abandoned him.  He later won his case on appeal. Only them was he released from prison.  At the Makeni ConBention in 2005, Pujeh was not allowed to speak.  He was repeatedly ruled out of order and threatened by the gangster chairman, the since convicted Lawyer Gabbidon who abused his Ombudsman office. PC Bockerie was PermSec, Ministry of Education, suffered an almost similar fate as Pujeh.  Only he served his full jail sentence.  Upon release, his sympathetic people elected him PC in Kono.  There are other SLPP ungrateful cases besides mine. VP Dr. Joe Demby, a former Ambassador in Liberia, Dr. Salia Gbao, Dr. Harry Will, late Deputy Finance Minister Sawi - all suffered injustices from the SLPP elite.  So, please help to clean up your house before casting aspersions on others.

C. @ Maiormo

1.  I did not transfer a single vote to APC.  But there is a large body of independent voters that SLPP will surely loose.  Bio has no crossover appeal.

I conclude by apologising for messing up my previous posting.  Do please forgive me. Bye.

John Leigh, just ignore the emented SLPP riffraff trying to pull you down. You are a far better man than they will ever be. They are misplacing their frustration over the alaki-ism of Maada Bio and lashing against you. Just pay them no mind. Let them kick and yell as they see defeat looming for Bio. The United States has warned Bio that the next time he applies for a visa to visit, he will be immediately arrested for the gumption. John L:eigh, you are a hero to all sober-minded Saloneans. The tongobaylay foolooloos of the radical green don't count. Take am easy Bra. You nar man.

So JEL, why were you not able to garner all the votes, or most of the votes from your constituency, village or wherever you claimed to have come from? That really tells a lot about you, Sir.
JEL, you were not the only one to get two votes, even Alpha Wurie, a lecturer of mine, got two votes and I am sure among those delegates, Alpha must have a reasonable number of his former students.
Bra Leigh, the honorable thing to do at this time is to just keep your cool, not wanting to trample on your freedom of expression but I think it is time for you to have this topic moot.
Pray APC wins, maybe you'll be named ambassador to some far away country like Malawi but your dream of becoming President of Salone is just that... dog dream lef nah him belleh.

BEK, stop making a pest of yourself. Attacking John Leigh is not going to resuscitate Bio's moribund candidacy. John Leigh is going places and has a wonderful rendez vous with destiny. Maada Bio will be consigned to the trash heap after his election lambasting by Ernest Koroma.

I do not know what is your definition of attack but I know JEL and I, maybe with others, are having a good back and forth, thank you. Just so you know, I did not mentioned Bio in my posits so far, though I know he now has a good chance of upsetting EBK and APC ( courtesy of APC attack dogs).
Dangs I know, you know very well that JEL is not going to be the running mate of EBK and considering his age, he (JEL) is not going anywhere. Lucky... if he is appointed chair of a board or parastatal.
