To Ernest Bai Koroma,Julius Maada Bio,and Christiana Thorpe, what has just happened in Egypt is exactly what we in Sierra Leone want in November.

We want an electoral exercise unencumbered by vote fraud, and making sure the contest is not fixed for either Bio or Ernest.

The votes must reflect the will desire and resolve of the citizens as that is the only way to claim political legitimacy.

A leader who bulldoze himself into power is aking to a man raping a woman against her wishes.

In as much as Ernest Bai Koroma is not my candidate, nothing should be done illegally by either the electoral commission or the SLPP to steal the elections from him should he prevails.Similarly also, should Julius Bio prevails, the APC or electoral commission should not by any means attempt to tilt the contest in favor of Koroma.

A leader who clinges to power without the mandate of the citizens does not deserve to be respected and will not be treated with respect as such.

I will want to be very respectful and proud of my leader if he has the mandate of the citizens in a contest devoid of violence, fraud, and other negative factors that may not bode well for the nation.

Ernest Bai Koroma,Julius Maada Bio,and Christiana Thorpe to take cue from what the citizens of Egypt have done peacefully and also duplicate that in Sierra Leone for the peace, quiet, and good of the country.

Perfect elections are rare and in Sierra Leone we could be content with a free and a fair election.

In the last Sierra Leone presidential election Christiana Thorpe had to invalidate a few thousand ballots - because they were invalid.

Every mistake that's in the book was evidenced in the Egyptian presidential run-off , in some areas more people voting than were registered, in other areas hundreds of pre-stamped ballot papers for this and that candidate, many cases of naturalised Egyptians voting before they were entitled to do so, even mistakes in counting ballots.....

Yesterday afternoon sometime after 1500 hrs. it was quite tense not only at Tahrir Square and throughout Egypt as the nation listened to the extended preamble to the announcement of the winner of the Presidential elections run-off . It was necessary to systematically go through all the electoral commission's analysis of how the results were arrived at - to pre-empt the kinds of mass/ massive reaction that could erupt spontaneously from whichever side was going to be declared the loser. The results were only announced after painstakingly subtracting the 800,000 ballots that were invalidated - it was then much safer to announce that Muhammad Morsi had won by approximately 900,000 votes...
