BINTUMANI FORUM

After all, if every economic issue is framed as a struggle between a hard-working white middle class and undeserving minorities, then workers of all shades will be left fighting for scraps while the wealthy withdraw further into their private enclaves - Barack Obama

As Bintumani forum nears its tenth year of existence, two core tribalists continue to make attempts at defacing the excellent reputation of the legendary forum.  The infamous Makeni boys, Musa Kenema and Eddie Grant, are hatemongers that relish prowling the forum under the cover of darkness to spew hate.

Musa Kenema and Eddie Grant are Temne nationalists who are averse to a cohesive and united Sierra Leone.  In a typical gbose gbose fashion, these Bombali Northern hegemonists have for years been disturbing the peace at Bintumani by diverting the course of useful debates into the gutter of tribalism  and regional hegemony.

But as Musa Kenema and Eddie Grant metamorphose into different monikers to elude detection, progressive forum forces, Kamara, Sokobana, Kamabai, Referee Manga, Freedom Answer, and others have not relented at going after them and exposing them for the bigots that they are.  Indeed, the saying that good always triumphs over evil is true.

Musa Kenema and Eddie Grant are an anathema progress.  They cheered as Temne nationalists ousted a progressive Bishop Henry Aruna from the Makeni parish a couple of years ago.  To them, there was no place for a Mende clergyman in Makeni.

And Musa Kenema and Eddie Grant are now campaign loyalists to Alpha Kanu, a well known corrupt politician.   The only reason for this is that Alpha Kanu is Temne.   Musa Kenema and Eddie Grant are a disgrace to Temnes and Sierra Leone.

But Bintumani‚Äôs progressive forces will continue to push against bigotry on the forum.  If Musa Kenema and Eddie Grant keep polluting the forum with hate, progressive forumites will keep flushing them out for the cockroaches and vermin that they are.

Stop blaming

The real hatemongers are people like you who turn the other way when hate is being displayed. Musa Kenema and Eddie Grant did not start this tribal nonsensense. It is one you your people using the moniker Cutting Grass. But as always, you Mende pigs are always the biggest complainers. Where were you when Cutting Grass utter the following:
"The Temnes are mere tools for violence in the APC. We cannot trust them with responsible roles. The Limba's will therefore always ride them like horse". JBS 2014

"nonsensense."   This must be a new English word.  Never heard of it.

"It is one you your people using the moniker..."

"...One you your people?"  What kind of expression is that?  A Bombali expression?  Never heard of it

The Temnes are a morally upright people. How can such people allow someone from a morally-bankrupt background to head them in sacred institutions like the church? Father Aruna has a cannibal pedigree and so cannot lead in any Temne-related place of worship. What if he becomes a father in Temneland and people start disappearing without any trace? The only compromise the Makeni people can make relating to the Father Aruna saga is for the Mendes to make an unconditional apology for all the northerners they have eaten and that includes those eaten by the  Kamajors too.

These Temne buffoons are really difficult to deal with.  If they are not writing grammatically incorrect English, they will be displaying their utter ignorance on mundane issues.  Now, what does the following statement mean?

"What if he becomes a father in Temneland?"

What the hell is this miscreant saying?  Bishop Henry Aruna was already a bishop before he was posted to Makeni.  How can a bishop become a father?

Those primitive folks in the Makeni parish would have benefited a lot had they accepted and embraced a man of the sophistication and caliber of Bishop Aruna.  But as usual, they resorted to their gbose gbose comportment.  What a miserable generation of people.

Mr Kaisamba Tondo, the hottest place in hell are reserved for satanic animals like you. I am certain you are neither  Catholic nor a believer in God. When a primitive community disobeys the Pope it is very much a major curse. Perhaps the unenviable feat of having the highest death toll in the Ebola crisis was just one of the rewards for bigotry.

This is not a joking matter a-hole KT. The people of Makeni resoundingly showed how satanic (or sokobaniac) and primitive they are when they defied the papacy's. This is a very dangerous chapter in our history and it can only happen with a beast like EBK in charge of the nation. Imagine if Mendes also retaliated and said the no Themne should hold any serious position in the South East? or that all temnes should go back to where they came? Thank God these progressive and law abiding people are bigger than the very dangerous bigotry and tribalism displayed by there ignorant brethren in makeni.

What makes this even more satanic (for lack of a better word) is that the majority of folks in this classic bigotry case are allegedly church going Christians. One wonders what the illiterate sokobanas in makoloh or Batkanu are capable of doing.  These dangerous and ignorant lot are more than happy having Italian Bishops than their fellow Salone Man who happens to be a mende. The sorriest part of this all is that they nation's bestial President, as we also saw I the Ebola discrimation, was firmly behind this primitive conduct in his hometown.

May the good Lord show the light in this darkest spot in our nation!

Father Moiwo dakay you are so right. You can take a Mende man's money and other belongings; you can even bang his wife in his presence and he gives a damn. But if you dare deny him power it is equivalent to slaughtering his entire family. Mendes are the biggest and worst megalomaniacs. Have you heard of Victor Foh's latest u-turn? The man who professed he will go with his boss EBK is now using proxies to drive home his message on the APC flagbearership. He is now more interested in the flagbearership than even John Sisay and is ready to clinch it by hook or by crook. When Foh was not VP he was dumb and docile but having been given the sligjtest chance on the VP seat has given him some hope. All he is now indulged in is building castles in the air. He has been made to believe he is president material by his bootlickers, water-carriers and mende siblings.

Kagbindi AKA Musa Kenema,

Are you really sure that Mendes are hungry for power?  Let me give you a lecture on tribal relations relative to politics in Salone.

One reason why the Limbas will always kick the backsyes of Temnes in the APC is that unlike the Temnes, Limbas are cool, calculated, thoughtful and level-headed.  Limbas know that Temnes are belligerent, rude and bombastic. So the Limbas stay in the background and allow Temnes to physically attack law abiding citizens for the sake of power.

Then later, the cool-headed Limbas will emerge and take over.  This is how the Limbas have continued to dominate the APC.  You will never see any of them being bellicose for the sake of power.  That remains the domain of Temnes.  Do you see why other ethnic groups in Salone just cannot get along with Temnes?
Stupid Mende professor.

SMP,

This is the reason why the Mende boys get frustrated debating with you morons.  What useless question are you asking?  Who do you think are the beneficiaries of Limba smartness?  Of course it is the Limbas.

Siaka Stevens, a Limba, used the Temnes to assume power in Salone.  He later slaughtered many of them before handing over power to his Limba brother, Joseph Momoh.  Momoh formed Ekutay to guide Limba upward social mobility and in the process used and abused Temnes.

Ernest Koroma whose Father was Temne but mother Limba has been keeping Temnes at arms length while rewarding Limbas and Lokos for work done by Temnes.  So the question is, when are Temnes going to wake up from their drunken stupor and realize that other Salone ethnic groups are not comfortable with them due to their gbose gbose culture?  This is precisely what the brilliant professor was elucidating in his piece.  Comprendez senior?

Some of you Mende folks will say anything to counter the truth. How much do you know about the relationship between Temnes and Limbas? It is unfortunate enough to accuse Temnes of tribalism when almost every word that comes out of you is laced with tribalism. Take this for free,  Ernest Koroma is culturally  more Temne than any Temne you can come up with. Unlike Mendes who buried their heads in purity, Northerners are not like that. So I do not understand this crap about Mendes being tolerant when you do not consider the child of a Mende woman from a nonMende man as  being Mende even when that child is raised in Mendeland.

You see this is what Temnes are gaining from the Limbas and other tribes. We accept them into our culture and treat them equally. Any surprises why Makeni is thriving during the administration of a so-called Limba President.

Meanwhile, why is this animosity with Temnes after admiring that they are not in power? Am I missing something?
Nice try Mende professor but you got this one wrong.

Temne boy,

Hehehehe  typical Temne boy, tupit.  BTW I am loko and not Mende although I grew up in Mendeland.  Now to the point.

Did I not state earlier that Ernest Koroma's father was Temne?  That makes Ernest Koroma a Temne because in Salone ethnicity is derived along patrilineal lines.  In other words, you are what your father is.  Do you understand that, dummy?   Why then would you be surprised that Ernest Koroma could be culturally Temne?

However, EBK's style of government is such that Limbas and Lokos are benefiting more than the gbose gbose Temnes.   Just look at the man's cabinet, heads of parastatals, ambassadors and high commissioners.  Why are Temnes so easily thrown under the bus?

In future, when you want to talk about Temnes, talk about Temnes.  You lack the moral authority to represent Northerners as a whole.  Other Northernerss, Lokos, Limbas, Fulas, Yalunkas, Mandingos, Korankos and Sossos are different.  Unlike Temnes, these ethnicities, a peaceful and easy to get along with.

I have a close friend whose father is Temne and mother Fula.  Being the cool guy that he  is, he always introduces himself as Fula.

This is really pathetic from so-called educated folks.

My only contribution to this trail of a thread, littered with a litany of bigotry and unsavoury language, is to say that:

even if Sierra Leone is carved out with the Mendes and temnes having their own separate countries or patches, nothing good, as the norm in most Sub-saharan countries, will come out of it.

The issue that should be front and centre of our political discussions is the question of the viability of Sierra Leone as a nation state if the APC and SLLP continue to call the shots in our political landscape as they have done for the past 60 years.

The fact that even a jobless passport thief like Bio who has relied on his off-shore secret accounts to sustain his living for the past 20 years could be touted as the usherer of our new-found democracy and as such having a sense of an entitlement as future leader beggars belief and is a sad testament to the tribal hegemony in our country.

IT IS ALL ABOUT POWER WITH YOU MENDE FOLKS

So the Limbas have the power while you dumb ass Mendes are complaining about
EBK developing Makeni. And because the Temnes are the vast majority in makeni,
you can't stand them either. YOU PEOPLE SUCK!

Temne Laimpay,

I told you that I am Loko but if you say that I am Mende, well I will accept that as an honor to belong to a decent ethnic group.  But please don't call me a Temne.  I don't want to belong to a gbose gbose tribe.

Now to the issue.  Let me try to ring a very important fact in your thick gbose gbose Temne skull.  Makeni is a multi-ethnic town, belonging to Temnes, Limbas and Lokos.  Second, those complaining about Makeni may not know much about the world.  A shanty hole with flies that is called a town or a city should not elicit complaints from any sane citizen.  It is you that is making that up.

Third, as someone noted earlier, despite the APC neglect, Bo is still far more sophisticated than Makeni.  So what does Makeni have that should elicit complaints.  Bo go sidom saful with u gbose gbose violent mentality.

Poor Temne boy,

Makeni being a multi-ethnic city does not say anything positive about Temnes.  In fact, historically, Temnes in Makeni have brutalized other ethnicities in Makeni. This explains the flight of Makeni folks to the peaceful and tolerant Southeast.

There is a so-called Limba President who is doing more for Makeni than ever; there are Mende boys who cries foul for the attention Makeni is getting; Mende boys with nothing constructive to talk about but how there's never been a Temnes President. Yet the very Mende boys are unable to hide their grudge against the very Temnes They accuse of never holding the seat of the presidency. Even a blind and deaf man can figure this out.

Lol.Lokko man aka Kakarass Sengbe says the Mende tribe is decent. My question is: If the Mendes are so decent why are they involved in cannibalism and tribalism? Talking about other tribes being more closer to Mendes than Temnes is a travesty because no one gets closer to people who might one day convert them into breakfat or lunch condiments. More questions: Inspite of their so-called decency why do Mendes have more enemies than the Temnes?  Inspite or their so-called gbose-gbose, why are the Temnes involved and preferred in intermarriages as compared to the Mendes? Today in every nook and cranny you fine a Temne-Mende, Temne-Fula, Temne-Madingo, Temne-Lokko, Temne-Limba, Temne-Susu, Temne-Krio, Temne-Fourah bay, Temne-Lebanese, Temne-Egyptian, Temne-Sherbro, Temne-Kru etc. which speaks volumes of how acceptable and decent Temnes are. Now can the Mendes beat that?
