After all, if every economic issue is framed as a struggle between a hard-working white middle class and undeserving minorities, then workers of all shades will be left fighting for scraps while the wealthy withdraw further into their private enclaves - Barack Obama

At least he is alive and well. I have been asking about my friend, Foday Yumkella, for the longest time possible, with no response from some family members. Ngor Salia's daughter, Jasmine, is the only one who offered a response to my enquiry by stating that he was residing at his farm in Kichum.

He and I go a very long way back to our days at the Bo School, London, England, etc. He was the only friend who stayed with me in brotherly support at my hostel in London after the death of my mother in 1970. He looks well, and thin, but malnourished?

Anyway I wish him the best. But he must remember that the presidency, or politics, does not constitute an industrial entity - like they all do oberyanda.

Much love, Bra!
