@Specky, some of us are still trying to recover from the disappointment of not getting the call to serve our nation

You have to make yourself available. There are still plenty of positions that have not yet been filled. Of course, it helps if you are APC.

Very funny DMK
But on a serious note, some folks who very strongly support a party on social media are surprised when they are not appointed. Happened when EBK won and am sure will happen under JMB. Communicating with key players in person is very important. Spending an inordinate amount of time online does not have sufficient time to nurture the contacts necessary to land such jobs.

I saw the list of deputy ministers and for just a second thought hang on, they can't appoint me without talking to me first! Anyway it wasn't me.
On a more serious note, Bio has appointed a lot of loyalists who put work in on the ground that is as it should be. He has also included a number of people who didn't necessarily support him to start with but once he captured the flag, did rally round. I like his team.

There is a third category of appointees that you did not mention - those recommended to Bio. That is the category that I want to go under, notwithstanding my being an NGC man. I will throw away my NGC loyalty in a second once I get appointed. Afterwards, I grew up SLPP.
