After all, if every economic issue is framed as a struggle between a hard-working white middle class and undeserving minorities, then workers of all shades will be left fighting for scraps while the wealthy withdraw further into their private enclaves - Barack Obama

Sylvia Blyden has been able to pull a masterpiece coup plot no other person has been able to do.
She penetrated the Bio administration through planting a mole in the person of Abdul Fonti and by that strategy, had access to vital information even they become public knowledge.

Once is at total loss to understand how president Bio will have been so oblivious of the fact the AYV,is an APC propaganda outlet committed to propagating everything the APC stands for and therefore the loyalties of the workers are all with the APC.

I was left on the horns of dilemma to understand why the Bio administration saw fit to recruit Abdul Fonti and install him in a sensitive position such as dissemination of the president's  vision, and accomplishments.

It was very hard for the president;s message to be sold to the public because most of the folks there are simply agents for other groups and very reluctant to honestly promote the president's agenda. Also,Abdul Fonti reminds me of another unsavory miscreant,a former  cabinet Minister in the Albert Margai administration by the name of Cyril Bunting Rogers-Wright who was a mole in the SLPP administration for the APC.He made it a point of duty to supply vital information to Siaka Stevens at the end of of every cabinet session whic made its way into the press on fairly regular basis

Now that he has been discovered as a spy for the APC through Sylvia Blyden, the president should embark  on a house cleaning exercise by getting rid of unsavory miscreants of very dubious character committed and dedicated to honestly and loyally serving him and the country to the satisfaction of all and sundry..

MKK, you are usually a goldmine of information, but in this instance, it could only be libel and slander and misinformation if you cannot go beyond merely accusing C.B Rogers-Wright of having only been an APC mole in Sir Albert’s SLPP Administration if you do not give us some proof  that he was indeed an APC mole.

According to Wikipedia,

“Sir Albert was sworn in as Sierra Leone's second Prime Minister the same day his brother died at a ceremony held at the Sierra Leone's parliament in Freetown. Soon after Margai was sworn in as Prime Minister, he immediately dismissed Karefa-Smart and several other senior government officials who had served under his elder brother Sir Milton's government, as he viewed them as traitors and a threat to his administration. Sir Albert appointed the Creole politician Cyril B. Rogers-Wright to replace Karefa-Smart.” ( http://hallx.me/EAcQX)

Cyril Bunting Rogers-Wright,was a mole for APC in the Albert Margai administration.
He eventually got kicked out by Albert.
However in 1968,Siaka Stevens had the judiciary reinstate him to practice law which is why he was made special prosecutor in the David Lansana treason case.

MKK, we haven’t yet got to the Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden chapter of your SLPP narrative, and I’m anxious to get there without wasting more time because she could well perish with the cause of death being attributed to the coronavirus if she is not isolated where she happens to find herself in detention at this very moment. The same should be true of the SLPP’s other political prisoners awaiting trial, interrogations, even punishment.

But, let’s start at the genesis of the paranoia: With due respect, what you are saying and want us all to believe without proof – and on suspicion only, is that “Cyril Bunting Rogers-Wright, was a mole for APC in the Albert Margai administration” because MMK says so and because the paranoid Sir Albert who soon after being sworn in as Prime Minister  “ immediately dismissed Karefa-Smart and several other senior government officials who had served under his elder brother Sir Milton's government, as he viewed them as traitors and a threat to his administration  -- and then appointed the Creole politician Cyril B. Rogers-Wright to replace Karefa-Smart”

I say “the paranoid Sir Albert” because he was paranoid from the very beginning, seeing “ traitors” everywhere  and that explains the purge – his viewing Dr. John Karefa-Smart and others as traitors or potential trouble-makers and rivals and therefore his purging of the cabinet and the administration  that he inherited from his half-brother Sir Milton.

I suppose that Rogers-Wright’s appointment and the  unceremonious termination of that appointment preceded or perhaps even justified and gave wings to the Mende-i-zation Policy which Sir Albert Margai then embarked on, that the Mende-i-zation policy was the backlash  - henceforth  he would only feel at ease by appointing people from his own ethnic group, his own kith and kin whose loyalty he would be sure of ? People like David Lansana…

The simple question that I’m asking you is this: Given the extensive web of relationships of the various members of Sir Albert’s new cabinet (http://hallx.me/q2Mp3) the various secretaries to the minsters and their permanent secretaries and other staff members not to mention their wives etc and other close family members, how can you be so cocksure that it was C.B. Rogers-Wright that “made it a point of duty to supply vital information to Siaka Stevens at the end of of every cabinet session which made its way into the press on fairly regular basis”?

The mission is to get at the truth of the matter.  I’m asking because I don’t know. But I do know that when Rogers-Wright was leader of the UPP, John Nelson Williams was one of his deputies - and dear Kutubu, that’s just the tip of the iceberg; bring in e.g. Gershon Collier. I could go on and on, but over to you….

MKK,

Due to the nature of our very close-knit societies, you could have what you call “moles” everywhere.

The alleged “leakages” continued long after C.B. Rogers-Wright as you say “got kicked out by Albert”. The leakage resurfaced with unpredictable regularity and in rapid succession, the exposés were featured in Ibrahim Bash-Taqi’s “ We Yone” – the APC’s propaganda machine from where and elsewhere they spread with reliable regularity, like a “bush-fire in the harmattan” right up to the General Elections of 17 March 1967 ( in which the APC made a clean sweep of the Western Area (twelve seats).

That the alleged “leakages” continued long after C.B. Rogers-Wright was ousted should lead to the sane conclusion that there could have been another source of the leakages, maybe even multiple sources of the leakages, possibly what you usually refer to as “skulduggery”,  this time, maybe within the SLPP machinery itself, maybe for a little bit money, for a few dollars more vital information could have been leaked or even purchased.

Please, let’s move on with the matter at hand. You’ll have to sort it out with Brer Bio, how he could have hired Fonti to man such a sensitive position without doing a background check on him. Who is to be blamed for Brer Bio’s decision, Bio or Fonti? Or Sylvia Blyden?

By the way, I liked Sir Milton: https://www.britannica.com/biography/Milton-Margai

MKK,

Ramadan Kareem !

Dis fast mont ya so we (the good citizens)  noh wan put pressure pan yu ehn we get sabr but not forever, so we go wait small bit more, but do-ya  a.s.a.p. please enlighten us with regard to Sylvia Blyden’s “masterpiece coup plot” that you allege.

I was happy to read in the SLPP Today to which I am subscribed, that “Persons who have been arrested are not being held because of their political beliefs or their professional work as journalists.”, which in plain English means that there are no political prisoners."

As di old Krio pipul dem kin say, “dem noh lek saful”. This statement by the commander-in- chief in full battle fatigues/ combat uniform should instil  the fear of  God if not the fear of Paopa in any potential miscreants that want to threaten peace and stability in the Republic; so let them that have ears , hear  and listen  to what he’s  saying:  [Commander-In-Chief]
