BINTUMANI FORUM

After all, if every economic issue is framed as a struggle between a hard-working white middle class and undeserving minorities, then workers of all shades will be left fighting for scraps while the wealthy withdraw further into their private enclaves - Barack Obama

On the dole,

Is having a "proper job" a requirement for Salone's presidency?  BTW what is your definition of a "proper job"?

Oh!!! before I forget, I may also not have a "proper job" as I have worked for myself for the past ten years with four university degrees.  Am I disqualified for Salone's presidency?
Hehehe!

What specifically do you do for a living?

I am contributing to the economy in my environment in ways that you will never be qualified to do.  That is what a good education does for a man.

Any other questions?

ON THE DOLE, so you do not class Farming as a job. This is because you see farming for the old and uneducated.

Retired General Obasanjo handed power to a civilian government in 1980. He did not go for further studies. Rather, he embarked on farming. After several attempts he became president of Nigeria as a civilian. The same goes for retired General Buhari who was farmer and politician. Both were self employed. So what is it about Bio not taking up employment from someone else or entity that you guys are so myopically peddling as a political propaganda against him?

If Bio was to accept a job below the status of a former Head of State, you will be the first to say he has degraded the office of head of State.

@David Samura: Not to detract from the point you are making, but OBJ did go back to school and obtained a masters degree last year from NOUN. He intends to pursue further studies leading to a PhD.

Spectator 007,

Is Bio any different then, given that Obasanjo went into farming and then into the pursuit of a Masters degree?

Bio  also went from head of state to the pursuit of Bachelors and Masters degrees. After that he went into farming.

Why these Sierra Leonean knuckleheads do not respect any vocation that does not deal with the United Nations is beyond me.  This is neo-colonial mentality at its best.

Was former President Jimmy Carter not a peanut farmer in Georgia before running for the presidency?

@Henderson: Farming can be lucrative if you know what you are doing. What role does Bio and his business associates play? Do the grow produce, buy, sell...?

Can someone please post a pic of Maada Bio's farm?

Maada is the only farmer who lives thousands of miles away from his farm.

Ishmail Yillah,

Stop being foolish.  I have farms in Southern Sierra Leone and I live in the United States.  Stop the stone age mentality.  We live in a globalized world where business and other transactions no longer require your physical presence.

If you guys make this election about Maada Bio and the SLPP, you will crash on your faces.  You better get yourselves busy with your Nonsensical Grand Coalition (NGC).

Kamabai,
You must be  Maada incarnate. lol
When did Maada cultivated his so-called cocoa farm? Do you know how long it takes a cocoa farm to bear after cultivation?

Ishmael,

Brand me whichever way you can.  It will not bother me.  I will rather vote for Maada Bio than Kandeh Yumkella.  Take this to the bank, I will never cast my vote for anybody that is not SLPP.  I am not one of those to fall for your stupid propagandas.

Have you ever visited the Southern or Eastern provinces of Salone?  You are asking very stupid questions.  I grew up on my father's cocoa farm in Kailahun.  Tell me, do you really know how long it takes to cultivate a cocoa farm?

Besides, you guys waste all your time propagating rubbish about Maada Bio instead of asking very simple questions.  The man established his political base by working with cocoa and coffee farmers in the Southeast.  He bought their produces and exported them.

Your guy should do himself a big favor climbing down his high horse and interacting with the common people of Salone.  At least that will add 2% to his projected 3% presidential vote.

This is what I heard.

This approach appears to carry lower risk than actually directly engaging in farming. Late entrepreneur Eric James was involved in this type of business.

Farming in a West African country is a very tough business as Caucasian farmers from Zimbabwe who were invited to Nigeria found out.

Why did you called him a farmer if all what he does is to buy produce from farmers and export overseas? You guys are just bunch of liars. Maada is not exporting anything..he lives by handouts from APC and other core SLPP fanatics.

Ishmael Yilla,

Do you know if Bio has any business relationship with Abass Bundu that entails purchasing and exporting agricultural produce?

Spec,

Maada Bio's only business is to collect money from EBK and fly to London and chase women. Maada is unemployed for nearly quarter of a century.

Ishmael Yilllah,

Is there any irrefutable evidence that EBK is bankrolling Bio?

If you have any, please share with the forum.

Thanks
