BINTUMANI FORUM

After all, if every economic issue is framed as a struggle between a hard-working white middle class and undeserving minorities, then workers of all shades will be left fighting for scraps while the wealthy withdraw further into their private enclaves - Barack Obama

How nice! Don't you just wish this photo be enlarged and posted on bill boards all over Kenema for those dunderheads to see? Might just give them something to think about.

KL let’s be honest these scenes only happen in the southeast because our themne people have what we call gbrafaneh. Why should you be hosted by someone and then try to pop on them . They don’t happen in the north because the mendes in the north respect their hosts. Calling Musa Kenema to the debate.

Don't quite get your drift, Gahinteh, can you rephrase and relate your question to the said event? Did Samura attempt any yuki yuki business that I am not aware of?

My drift has to do with the video showing themne businesses in the southeast been vandalized. Lots of themne immigrants in the southeast openly sided with the APC. A good number colluded with the security forces to intimidate their Mende hosts. So they got it coming once the hosts won the elections. The SLPP got quite a sizable number of votes in the north west but because their supporters were quiet about their preference, it is difficult to find the reverse attacks in themne land.

Themnes are folks that would not be scared of starting a fight in Kenema or Bo.  But when they get their butts kicked they cry foul.

It's really sad how you people seem to be applauding the violence. It's a shame that many of you here hate to see Sierra Leone move forward. You truly are enemies of Mama Salone. If this violence continues, it shows the Brits who were ready to support Bio that he hasn't changed. The money that DfID has set aside for the country's action plans will not be released. The UK govt will not want to be seen to support violence against one tribe. Another thing is money will have to be spent on rebuilding these structures that have been burnt down. And guess who pays for that. The govt of Sierra Leone. Yes the govt of Sierra Leone will have to pay to rebuild all the APC buildings that have been burnt down.
Also if this isn't capped quickly and it then starts making it into the international media, it won't be pretty. At the moment it's off screens but soon Al Jazeera will get a whiff (or even the Guardian newspaper in the UK) and we all know how they or even Russian TV like to make the UK govt look bad. Trust me people if you want Maada Bio to succeed you should be doing your best to see the end of violence in Salone. If not for the fact that many of the people affected are women but for the good of the nation.

Oh no! They've let the idiots out. Next! Titti when you have an understanding of the world and how it works, then speak up. As you and I know, that happened 2 years after the 2007 election. And the international community frowned on it and on Ernest Koroma. He was forced to do something about it. Lots of money spent on a commission. Sierra Leone money. Just as Maada probably has the UK High Commissioner stepping on his toes right now to do something about the violence. I am surprised I haven't seen it on the Chinese news. Probably because their reporter has left Freetown. But they'll send her back if they hear about violence. They'll enjoy making Maada Bio look bad because he already criticised the Chinese.
Why do you think Maada spent his time in stadium yesterday trying to quell the situation? Who do you think has told him his govt has to be inclusive and to not carry out a witch hunt? I know social media has made many people stupid but I always expect more from my fellow Sierra Leoneans.

You are the idiot, you hypocrite animal. Ernest never did anything about it. He ignored the Shears Moses commission report, and he even gave jobs to the perpetrators. Shut your trap, you moron.Women were raped, and Ernest said he will deal with the SLPP. You pretend as if you are a saint, but you are just one of the ignorant, stinking hypocrite dummies in that country.

This woman called Salone Baby loves to make things up.  All of a sudden she wants an inclusive government in Salone.  Yet she never said a thing when Ernest Koroma loaded his governments with folks from the North.  Shame.

Salone Baby is Sylvia Blyden. Please have mercy on her. She is mourning and will be for a very long time to come.
