Although the attention has been on the cash donations for the mudslide victims, I want to draw the attention of readers to the huge collection of items (non-cash) donated for the victims which are stored in various places around town. I want to make specific reference to a warehouse at Damba Road Murray Town because that's the one closest to my residence. My question is why are these items still stored in this warehouse which is guarded by military men and not given to the intended beneficiaries. The fact that the mudslide victims are being asked to leave their temporary shelters without those donation, gives grounds for speculations. I want to appeal to members of this forum to use whatever that is in our disposal to create the awareness and ask the authorities tough questions as regards this issue. For God sake let the victims receive their due fully and on time. They have suffered enough.
