It started at the Dag Hammarskjold Plaza of the United Nations at 8:00 AM Thursday, September 27 and ended in the 500 seater auditorium of the famed Harlem Hospital in New York City.

Sierra Leoneans from all over the United States, many clad in the nation's Green, White and Blue colors gave an overwhelming welcome to President Julius Maada Bio.  This group may have easily been between five hundred and a thousand enthusiastic supporters beating the drums and dancing.  On the opposite side of the plaza were roughly twenty disgruntled and miserably-looking APC supporters with banners denouncing the president.

At about 1:15 PM, President Bio's entourage rolled out of the main gates of the United Nations.  The vehicles stopped and the president came out to briefly greet his dancing country men and women.

The celebration moved to the auditorium of the Harlem Hospital where the president addressed the gathering at 4:30 PM.   It was all a very joyful day to behold.
