If only Maada Bio, the already selected flag bearer for the SLPP know the true meaning of the word Pao pa he wouldn't associate himself with it.
The word itself means By force or By hook or crook. It's a word derived from the temne dialect, it's usually used to describe people who are obstinate, lawless and non respecter of others views.
The name pao pa was first given to Maada Bio by Sylvia Blyden. Little did she know that this arrogant thief will embrace it like a cuddly teddy bear given it meaning.
It is very damaging for the SLPP but they seem to enjoy it.
Reply with quote #2
When and where has Maada Bio ever admitted that he was Paopa. BTW Paopa is a creole word.

The intolerance practiced by Maada Bio and his cohorts in the SLPP is clearly manifesting as heavy criticism hit them from all corners of the country. Every nook and cranny in the SLPP is coming out in an attempt to defend their appalling record. For most of us who are no strangers to their non acceptance of criticism, we can only watch and see how they're eroding the little support they had.
With all their doctorate degrees in their midst, they still lack wisdom and understanding on how to handle such critiquing.
Alpha Saudi Bangura, a long time defender of this party is really getting the worst of them. Professors are coming out in numbers to defend but only end up hurting the party so badly.
In most Sierra Leone community gatherings today, the popular discussion is all about how people are disgusted with the party. I thought London will be different. But since I returned a few days ago, I hear nothing else other than how SLPP are intolerant of other people's opinions.
We usually thought what these greengoes displays in bintu is only peculiar to them but it is something that's universal to them. What a bunch of wasters.

"We usually thought what these greengoes displays in bintu is only peculiar to them but it is something that's universal to them. What a bunch of wasters." Eddie Grant For those of us who spent the better part of our lives growing up with Mendes, this is not news to us. They pride themselves as being tolerant my break time to other tribes. Fact of the matter is that the Southeast of Sierra Leone Is where apartheid is being practiced like no other place on Earth. When a lowlife hypocrite like Kamara attempted to create his very own alternative truth, all hell breaks loose on him thanks to Temnes boy.Only a Mende moi like him will tell you that Southeasterners, comparatively, casted more votes for the APC than Northerners did for the SLPP. But what he will not tell you is that these so-called "Southeasterner" that casted votes for the APC were and always been Northerners residing in the Southeast. Mendes in general will never vote for the APC and that is not a secret.

Eddy, pao-pa Salone go betteh is now the mantra. Bio's popularity is soaring steadily and he will win in 2018 by a landslide. Be honest for a change, Eddy Formaldehyde. Who in APC can beat Bio? Alhaji Abuja or kemoh-shorthan? You are not serious.
Stop rewriting history Eddy as you did with your iliterate Formaldehyde theory during Ebola. Bio's role as Father of Democracy in Salone is irrefutable. Political amnesia is misguiding a few folks to deny the obvious. Here is what a United States Republican Senator, Nancy Kassebaum of Kansas said about the Rtd Brigadier General Maada Bio on the 23rd April 1996, whilst addressing her colleagues in Congress: “ I want to commend the former military ruler of the country, Julius Amaada (sic) Bio, for respecting the results of the elections. Until the last moment, many questioned whether the military would actually hand over power. Of course, many military rulers--including some in West Africa--have ignored elections. But Brigadier Bio demonstrated statesmanlike leadership in guiding his country to democracy, and I believe history will look upon him kindly. ” This national hero served his country as a soldier with distinction. He made the ultimate sacrifice that is globally revered by most civilized human beings. He was willing to die for his country. Only in Salone do we have animals like you disrespecting service of our national heroes. But with all you have displayed on Bintuland, including your formaldehyde crap, presidential ambiton et al.. who will take a bestial fella like you seriously? Your APC does not even have a Presidential candidate. Just wait for their imminent internal fight in September. The Ekutay wing is determined to keep your chief kleptomaniacs Alhaji Abuja and Kemoh Shorthan Sesay pegged to organizing thugs. Even the new kid on the block, Kamarainbai is going to beat the APC candidate in 2018. Mark my words.

Stop deceiving yourself by calling Maada Bio a national hero. If you're so eager to name Bio as a hero, he could well be known as a regional hero and that's for the southeast only. The man is loathed by many in the country.
If we're to consider your gibberish about how history will be kind to him for his so called service, why did he performed woefully in 2012 elections. Or do you want to tell us that his alleged national service was unknown until now? My friend give me a break.
It's a pity that you are not in the country to know how much this guy is hated. You could've atleast reduce your burden of thinking Bio is going to be president of Salone and engage in something useful.
The recent revelations by his own trusted buddies have done more harm than good to his campaign. Imagine, a PhD holder who claimed to have serve in the civil service in Salone say the US$3 million Bio stole is chicken change. This Type of responses is resonating in the entire electorate.
My friend, I'll advise you to examine the political dynamics in the country and stop fooling yourself.

Eddy I am glad you are no longer talking about running. Having an opposition party score 38% against an incumbent who was determined to win using all kinds of underhand tactics is a major feat. To put this in perspective, when EBK ran the first time against Tejan Kabba he polled 20%.
Look at the line up of candidates and tell me who remotely comes near Bio's popularity. The people you interact with hate Bio because he and some young colleagues mostly in their 20s truncated their monopoly on power and looting of our nation some 3 decades ago. Most have still not gotten over it and we can understand their beef. The reality now is that APC is very weak, without a candidate that is known and under some real threat in the North from ADP's Kamarainba. Kamrainba has repeatedly polled about 40% in the North. His harassment and serial arrest by the APC regime is not unrelated to this. Add this to the infighting that has started and will worsen after their selection of EBK's choice, mostly likely a Limba and you should be a very worried man. Just a few days ago for the first time in decades, Alpha Kanu disrespected EBK in a NAC meeting. The writing is on the wall Eddy and your beloved APC is now toast. I did not make that story up about history being kind to Bio. A US Republican Senator said so. Google it. And it is also factual. Whether this fact hurts your "tribalistic" feelings is entirely your business. It is irrefutable. When the young men risked their lives to set our nation free from satanic forces that were bleeding it dry, one has to be a lunatic not to see that as heroic. When Bio particularly decided to hang on to power was the normal thing those days, that is heroic. So my friend do not rewrite history. Today, Bio's popularity, particularly amongst grassroots around the country is second to none. All he now needs is a strong Northern running mate. If he gets someone like Kamarainba, you can be rest assured that they will poll over 60% in the first rounds. BTW, I live in Salone and just work abroad from time to time.

This is very strong evidence that SLPP is set to take a permanent seat in the political wilderness.
I'm trying to scare you but the past voter registration have laid the ground bare for an SLPP failure. The number of registered voters in the north and the western area alone accounts for over 60% of the entire electorate.
Even if the entire South goes for Bio, it will not be enough for him to come second add to the fact that KKY's Coalition is going to slice any hope of an all-out southeastern vote for the SLPP.
Perhaps Bio is contemplating a third comeback in 2023 and even at time he'll have serious problem since I'll be contesting.

"Perhaps Bio is contemplating a third comeback in 2023 and even at time he'll have serious problem since I'll be contesting." Eddie Grant Eddie, Before thinking of running for public office in Salone, I advise you to use the opportunity that you have of living in England and go back to school to polish your communications skills. Salone cannot be represented by a poorly educated man of your ilk. Now to the issue. You will be fooling yourself to think that in the midst of misery and neglect in Salone every voter in the North and West will vote for your beloved APC. Absent their usual electoral rigging exercises, the APC will lose the North to Kamarainba's ADP and SLPP will win the West, South and East. So you figure out who will be your next president.
Reply with quote #11
Heaven knows I'll not be held responsible over what is going to happen to you greengoes when the SLPP fail to even get 20% in 2018 since I've tried my best letting you know how the entire country, save for the South loathes your party.
For all the heart attacks, strokes, shocks and all that's about to befall you we'll have treatment centres to deal with that.
You dae hope pan die man shoes. Kamaraimba have not been able to get a mere 10% of all by-elections conducted so far. I've witnessed him campaigning in Makeni and Port Loko, boy the little said about him the better. Even in the midst of protest voting in constituency 30 in Bombali, the man himself realised the best he could get is cheap popularity. Now that the issue of lights and water, which was at the centre of open disgruntled folks' display of dissatisfaction has been resolved, Makeni is receiving uninterrupted electricity and water supply who'll want to throw away a better government for the unknown?
My friend continue with your disidisillusionment about a Bio presidency.
Call me a tribalist, as you have always done but the truth must be told. I see no other party coming close to defeating the APC regardless who they give the flag. What the people are interested in is the party. Who heads it is secondary.
Reply with quote #12
So you are now declaring an open support for a party that you were lambasting just a couple of months ago. And you really think that what comes out of your gbose gbose mouth should be the gospel truth? My friend, you are part of the problem in Salone. You have come out in open support of the massacre of Mendes and other tribes by Temnes in the Marampa mines, you have said nothing but great things about the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) simply because it was headed by a Temne from Tonkolili, you cheered as blatant tribalism was displayed against Bishop Henry Aruna in Makeni, you laughed when the first case of Ebola was discovered in Kailahun and you are now praying for the misery of the people of Salone to continue for another five years. Keep dreaming that APC will win. You are in for a rude shock, small boy.
Reply with quote #13
I wonder what's your definition of open support. My friend, your problem is SLPP and I am more concerned about good leadership in the country. Whether it come from the APC is not my business.
But the truth must be told and that is, APC is far better than your party. Today I can atleast drive my SUV from Freetown to Koidu in less than 3 hours without having to visit the mechanic on arrival.
As long as you guys believe that good leadership is not a priority to you then you better be prepared to wallow in opposition and no amount of threats and propaganda can change that. Afterwards, the rest of the country is bigger than your enclave.

Although you come across as a functioning illiterate on the basis of how you write, I will give you a test question: Do you know what is called a debt-induced growth? This is precisely what Ernest Koroma and the APC have been pursuing. But for dummies of your ilk, you lack the ability to analyze issues hence you cannot question the direction of your country. A Debt-induced growth is not a growth that is sustainable, my friend. It is bubble that can burst at any time. Did you hear that Sierra Leone is now bankrupt? In your exuberance over driving from Freetown to Koidu, don't forget that your Temne-Limba APC Makeni heroes inherited a debt-free economy but have now pushed Sierra Leone to the status of a heavily-indebted nation. Your grand kids will suffer paying off Sierra Leone's debt. I hope I am not wasting my time on a dunderhead like you who cannot even write a simple grammatically correct sentence in English. Laimpay.

Well, you can actually read and respond so shut up and follow the message.
"Do you know what is called a debt-induced growth? This is precisely what Ernest Koroma and the APC have been pursuing. But for dummies of your ilk, you lack the ability to analyze issues hence you cannot question the direction of your country."
Unfortunately, the SLPP was unable to even give us a debt-induced economy and the people languished in dire poverty.
Thank you Ernest Koroma.
"A Debt-induced growth is not a growth that is sustainable, my friend. It is bubble that can burst at any time. Did you hear that Sierra Leone is now bankrupt? "
Well whether it is sustainable or not atleast we're seeing growth that never happened in the 11 years of SLPP misrule.
Salone bankrupt? No it's only a figment of your sorry imagination.
"In your exuberance over driving from Freetown to Koidu, don't forget that your Temne-Limba APC Makeni heroes inherited a debt-free economy but have now pushed Sierra Leone to the status of a heavily-indebted nation. Your grand kids will suffer paying off Sierra Leone's debt. "
There has never been a debt free country in the world. If that happen to any country, the reality is, that country is not functioning properly which means no country is doing business with you.
You think the people of Sierra Leone are fools when you took the country to the cleaners. The entire world had to beg for us to be released from the shackles of debt.
Now it has become the only thing you'll write home about in all the time you spent in government.
"I hope I am not wasting my time on a dunderhead like you who cannot even write a simple grammatically correct sentence in English."
You don't need to even spend time talking to me. All you need to do is give chance to those with the balls to clean up the mess you created.
My laimpay is functioning very well and can even give your girlfriend "bawl legs"

"Kamaraimba have not been able to get a mere 10% of all by-elections conducted so far".Eddy Formaldehyde This a$$hole is either on drugs or he is just a shameless thief. Eddy Formaldehyde, amidst all the gbosgbos and threats to life, Kamarainba scored over 35% in both bye elections -Port Loko and Bombali. Like your formaldehyde story during Ebola, you really are a useless f@rt!

What you need to worry about right now is how to counter the voters list which has already won elections for the APC . The number of registered voters in the north and the western area almost quadrupled that of your South and East. There's no way you can change that even if Kamaraimba slice the northern vote by half.
I was there when the voter registration exercise was going on and your folks in Kailahun and Kenema had to be placed on lock down in order to get them to register. Why do you continue to deceive not only yourself but the unsuspecting supporters as well.
Reply with quote #18
The South and the East experienced the worst mass migration of able-bodied SLPP voters to the North especially Makeni. They will all find very good reasons to vote with the Temnes as long as they behave themselves.
Reply with quote #19
The elections will be determined by the current state of the country. The current economic malaise in Sierra Leone does not augur well for the APC. The only thing that can give APC victory is SLPP disunity.
SLPP will not garner more than 10% in the APC strongholds of Port Loko, Bombali and Tonkolili. If it gets 85% in the southern strongholds, 50% in Kono, 60% Freetown, 40% in Kambia and Koinadugu, it will clinch victory. If the economy continues on a downward spiral, SLPP might increase it's percentage in the APC strongholds. If I were APC, I would not feel self assured for the upcoming elections.
Reply with quote #20
Don't mind the foolish boy. APC do not even have a candidate. By the time they end up getting an Ekutay one, plaba ehn gbosgbos will get in full swing. The way the economy is going, these osai-owai ayampi a-holes may not even be the main opposition party after 2018.

When these SLPP losers, with one hand massaging their tololis and the other hand on the key board yap yapping about the economy, you know something is wrong with them. The economy is what they complained about until their thieving Bio got kicked in the butt during the last election. And now here they are complaining about the economy. The question that needs to be asked is why are foreigners finding ways to make money in Sierra Leone while these useless SLPP braggarts always complain about the economy? Why don't they stop massaging their okobo tolosis, get off the computer with their degrees and return home to do what the foreigners are doing? What a waste of time responding to these coconut heads.

Alaki, as you call yourself , a name which befits the average APC fanatic. Why do your conversations have to degenerate into crude insults.
The whole world knows that Sierra Leone is facing a current economic malaise. No serious company is going to invest in Sierra Leone with the current kleptocratic Govt that has mismanaged the country's assets and forced her to the edge of bankruptcy. Shady foreigners with no interest in helping Sierra Leone are the ones flooding the country with the connivance of corrupt elements in the APC Govt. Sierra Leoneans will wake up and boot the corrupt crew out.
