BINTUMANI FORUM

After all, if every economic issue is framed as a struggle between a hard-working white middle class and undeserving minorities, then workers of all shades will be left fighting for scraps while the wealthy withdraw further into their private enclaves - Barack Obama

So why is he staying where opportunities do not exist to pursue his exhibited talents? He must find ways and the means for moving so. He might try to go to La Guinee or Liberia, across our porous borders with these neighboring countries at first for the sake of cost-effectiveness to find if opportunities exist in his sphere. At best, he could try to emigrate into the western world where the opportunities exist in abundance after his talents are showcased to the global community. This (showcasing his talents), I believe, is what you have done by uploading this video on the Bintu, per se. Well done!

The problem with your take, about moving to another country, is part of the reasons we are experiencing something called the brain drain in Salone. If the government cannot help him, what is wrong with individuals and organizations in the diaspora to help him?

"...If the government cannot help him, what is wrong with individuals and organizations in the diaspora to help him?..."

Is anyone saying that? Not I!!

Are you one of the individuals trying to help him?

Are you trying to solicit help from individuals and/or organizations to "help" him?

So why did you not state so in the first place? All you did was to entitle the thread and upload the Youtube video on the Bintu. Are we to infer that he needs help in order to enhance his primitive talent as an "engineer" in this modern world?

Bra, how u bizness (effective communication skills) tranga so ba?

Better yet tell you APC gorberment for help the borbor in order for eliminate your so-called "brain drain".

Sengbe, are you having a bad day? Just in case you are not, it is this kind of behavior that gets you at odd with some forumites.

""...If the government cannot help him,

him?..."
Is anyone saying that? Not I!!"

Did you really give enough thoughts to the above before posting? You responded to my post and I responded to you in kind. from your question, you appear to be taking my response very personal. No, Sengbe, NO ONE IS SAYING THAT!!!

"Are you trying to solicit help from
individuals and/or organizations to
"help" him?

So why did you not state so in the first place?"

In case you are not aware of it, I have a free mind and will say what I want to say. If I were soliciting for help, I would have done so. I posted a video with a subject that must not offend anyone. All of a sudden, here you are looking for a fight, asking unnecessary questions and making unnecessary comments like:

"Are we to infer that he needs help in order
to enhance his primitive talent as an
"engineer" in this modern world?"

You are too old for this kind of behavior, Sengbe! Please borrow a page from Knice,s demeanor and you will be just fine.

Polly ee las word to you, and yours:

OH!!!

BTW, if I am too old, as you seem to know, it is due to the fact that I have lived a long life in excellent health, and I thank the good Lord for that.

Are you in your teens? Probably! That is why you are an immature brat whose communication skills are not up to par, Kiddo!

Bye! Bye!!

King Loggy you should know by now that anything positive with a Northern name will not bode well with this old tribalist called Sengbe.
What is more impressive than a barely educated kid from the country side doing something FBC students never accomplished? This old man belongs in a nursing home.

I always like Sengbe unltil he start behaving like a 90 year old who thinks he can get away with anything he says.  How can Sengbe suggested for this barely educated young man to emigrate to the western world to showcase his talent and then came back and called his accomplishments as primitive? This guy is losing it and probably belongs in a nursing home.

Talents can be found in many places. Unfortunately, in Sierra Leone those who have the opportunity do not see it fits to see and recognize talent that they could help.

Kevin Doe did similar things and a young man David Sengeh saw him and helped him. Today b Doe is doing remarkably well.

I hope another Sierra Leone an in the west who has the opportunity like our resident KL whom I am told is a well to do business man can help this young man by promoting him. You can start by creating a "GoFundMe" page.

KL a well to do businessman? Have you been talking to Fen Plaba? A "GoFundMe" page from my experience will not help. Generally speaking, Sierra Leoneans are more talk and less action. The last time I proposed something similar one one of these fora, a few people, God bless them, participated. Before the project started we were told the bank chopped most of the funds. The balance of the money was never accounted for.
