After all, if every economic issue is framed as a struggle between a hard-working white middle class and undeserving minorities, then workers of all shades will be left fighting for scraps while the wealthy withdraw further into their private enclaves - Barack Obama

So too, the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it makes great brags. See how small a fire it takes to set a great forest ablaze! -James 3:5

The point of James' illustration is made clear in verse 6 of the same Bible Chapter. "The tongue represent our ability to speak. Like fire, our speech has the potential for causing great harm. the Bible even says that "death and life are in the power of the tongue" (see proverbs 18:21). Of course, we do not stop talking just out of concern that we might say something harmful, any more than we refuse to use fire because we fear the damage it might cause. The key is control. If we control fire, we can use it to cook our food, warm our bodies, and light up a dark  night. Similarly, if we tame our tongue we can use it power to honour God and to benefit others (see Palsm 19:14). Whether we use sounds from our mouth or signs with our hands, the ability to communicate our thoughts and feelings is a marvelous gift from God. This gift, however, should be used to build up, not tear down (see James 3:9-10)

In 1997, Victor Ajasafe said that he saw Johnny Paul on a white Horse. He swore that "If Kabba return, he will wipe his ass with a page from the Bible"

Kabba came back. He was arrested. He was release due to the Nigerian influence over Kabba then. Some people condemning him today condemned Kabba for arresting a fake man parading as a man of God. Now, we have seen the Satan that he truly is. The Bible in Revelation speaks about false religion (Babylon) We are warn to get out of her before he prostitute us as he has done with our political leaders who knock on their doors for signs and wonder.
This man is a Nigerian. He should be deported for security reasons. I hope common sense would prevail.

And now this:
TENSIONS RISING HERE IN FREETOWN. Bishop Laggah released the following statement:
I am kindly asking members of the body of Christ (Church Leaders and Believers) to remain calm about the matter concerning Evangelist Victor Ajisafe. Umbrella bodies executives such as PFSL, CCSL, EFSL, CATHOLIC CHURCH etc. are working together in collaboration to come up with a statement by the end of today 27th September 2017. We will ensure that we stand by our brother Evangelist Ajisafe and also engage our Islamic conterparts to calm down the tension that the issue at hand has already created. We will do well if we desist from any further discussion on the matter or make derogatory remarks, but rather engage in praying for our brother and for a swift and peaceful resolve of this matter. I look forward to your usual cooperation. Blessings and God bless us all.

Heated discussion about what the pastor said on Nairaland
Reply with quote  #12
Specky, this is exactly what one will expect from a Nigerian discussion forum and from Nigerians in general. Unlike is, there is a history of religious intolerance in Nigeria and Boka Haram can speak to it. This is exactly what the idiot pastor is preaching. I wonder now what his congregation may be thinking.

That is the right thing to do. Now I look forward to the idiot pastor's Sierra Leonean congregation to also come forward and do the same.
