As soon as Mohamed Morsi was pronounced the newly elected president of Egypt, the United States of America with its obstructionist Middle East policy came out expressing recurring paranoia about Mr.Morsi's ideological leanings claiming that he belongs to the "Muslim Brotherhood Party" as though it is a crime to belong to a political entity of one's choice.
For all intent and purposes historically speaking,Egypt has not seen democracy since the overthrow of King Farouk in 1952 by those reactionary forces led by Abdul Nasser to Mubarak who nearly installed his son but for the potency of the PEOPLE POWER it was almost a done deal.
As for those retrogressive Generals, when the uprisings started in earnest, they were not on the side of the long suffering citizens because Mubarak have succeeded in corrupting them and so their sense of patriotism was totally beholden to his whims, views, and caprices and therefore share the climate of blame for the crucibles of chaos and disorder that was visited upon the political governance of the nation. As the citizens have spoken very loud and clear, their job is to relinquish total power without any further delay and return to the barracks and restrict their role to the defense of the territorial integrity of the nation and not to meddle in the political administration.
As for the USA,it does not matter whether is the unclehood or auntyhood Marabou party that won the election. What is being made patently clear is that the citizens by their votes have affirmed their abiding faith in the validity of the sanctity of the ballot box and they must respect that and work with the new government to achieve peace and quiet in a region that thrives on sheer criminal violence for apparently no justifiable reasons.
The need for the US administration and the army Generals to respect the wishes of the citizens of Egypt by not underminig the authority of the new government through any subversive means.
